Dear Reader:
I am sending this prayer especially for BAE YONG-JOON . I believe he too needed prayers like ALL of us. His birthday is fast approaching and I wanted to send him this prayer so he may know that he is loved. Jesus said in 1 John 4:20,21: "If anyone says, 'I love God,' yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother." Yes, Bae Yong-Joon is my brother. And God desires me to love my brother as HE (God) loved me. Of course, my brother is not just BYJ , but you too, dear reader.
I have no other purpose of sending this but to inspire you, dear reader; and most of all to enlighten and spiritually uplift Bae Yong-Joon. I just hope and pray God will lead him to read this.

Shepherd of my heart and Keeper of my soul, dear Heavenly Father, I praise You for You are the Ruler of the whole universe Who possess such infinite wisdom beyond human language could fathom. You even created the world out of nothing. Your name be praised and glorified.
I come before You just as I am, knowing it is only through humility that I could come to You. I present to You my sinful self that You may wash away my sins. Forgive me from all the things I did that might have displeased You. I ask, by the power of Your Indwelling Spirit to purify and sanctify me. Renew me, dear Heavenly Father, for I desire only to glorify Your Holy Name. I ask, give me rest from the things that will hinder You from pouring out Your blessings unto me. Break and refine me once again, that I may be worthy to pray for my brother, 'Bae Yong-Joon'. So, I plead, accept this prayer as a sweet incense before Your Holy throne of grace. Thank You, dear Heavenly Father.
I praise You for the gift of life, the beautiful sunrise, the chirping birds and lovely flowers. Praise be Your name for the beauty of nature. I thank You for this privilege of prayer, especially, this privilege of praying for Bae Yong-Joon. You know that it is my first time to pray for a celebrity and a very influential person who had, obviously, almost everything in this world. Yet, BYJ still lack some things - things that are much more important than this world affords. And these, I pray...
I ask from You, Lord, to give him wisdom. He's a fulfilled man. He had everything. Yet, even Solomon, the wisest and richest king who ever lived asked for wisdom beyond his, which made him one of the great men in earth's history. Give him the wisdom to be sensitive with Your instructions and guidance. Such wisdom with the object of magnifying Your greatness through being mindful of others. The mind like Your Son, Jesus, Who died for him. That it was him (and the whole human race) whom Jesus thought while hanging on that cross on Mount Calvary. Give him the mind to think about others; not just to those whom he considered family and friends, but to those who consider him an enemy. Not just to those who are of the elite society but to poverty-stricken. Not just to the strong but the weak as well. Such mind that will make him fearless to call sin by its right name, and brave to stand for the right though the heavens fall. Lead him to consult You first in whatever decision he will take. And sooner, he will find himself treading through the path of righteousness.
I ask from You, Lord, to create in him a new heart. A heart that would beat just for You. A heart that will never feel anything hatred and of its kind toward his fellow men. A heart that will make You first and last and best in every thing throughout his life. A heart that would desire to listen and learn from You through Your Word - the Holy Bible. And there, he will find the Greatest Love Story ever known to man - the love that You had for humanity. How great is Your love for the world that You gave Your Only Begotten Son, Jesus, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life!
I ask from You, Lord, Your Holy Spirit. Let Your Spirit possess his heart and transform in him the character of Jesus. Let It fill him, mold him and renew him into what You wanted him to become. So, people may see a new creation in and through him. I ask, by the power of Your Spirit, to increase his humility. That despite the things he had, his wealth and fame, he would still bow down to You and would boast nothing of himself but give back to You the glory and honor. For You said in Luke 18:14: "...for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted." By the power of Your Holy Spirit, increase his faith. Even the strongest has his own weaknesses; even the most happiest has his own sorrows. And the most successful has his own failures. You knew him very well, Lord. You created him. You created all of us. And You exactly knew what our weaknesses are. He too has his own burdens and sorrows that I do not personally have the knowledge of, but You do. I entrust him to You, Lord. remind him that when he think that all of his resources fail, there is but One that will and can never fail - You, dear Heavenly Father. Lead him to trust You. That You have always been faithful with Your promises, and they are sure. Reassure him with Your words in John 16:33(NIV) and Matthew 28:20(KJV): " '...In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.' '...and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.' " May these thoughts encourage him to reach out and depend on You. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, give him Your peace. This wicked world may promise him wealth, fame and honor, which are here today and gone tomorrow. Yet, let your peace be with him. Let him know that the things on earth are but temporal, and You made him only a steward of the things he now possess. For in Your heavenly kingdom are untold riches and many mansions of pure gold which are prepared for those who patiently wait for Your soon return. This is as You said in John 14:2, 3(KJV) and Revelation 21:15-27(NIV): " 'Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.' 'The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass. I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.' " Let this assurance bring him peace and joy and love.
I ask from You, Lord, rich blessings for him. I pray, You bless him with blessings of protection. When in danger, make him undaunted. Yet trusting Your rich grace as a Savior - a very present help in time of trouble. Keep him safe by Your side, dear Lord. Please, command Your holy angels to guard him in all his ways. and deliver him from people with bad intentions of his life. I pray, You bless him with the blessings of good health always. Lead him not to defile the soul-temple with the things he eat, drink and breathe. You desire him to be in good health, Lord, both physically and spiritually, as in Matthew 4:4(KJV): " '...Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.' "; 3 John 2(NIV): " 'Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.' "; and 1 Corinthians 10:31(NIV): " 'So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.' " Give him the light to proper nutrition in Leviticus 11. I pray, You bless him a helpmeet or a wife, whom You created ideally for him. Give him the woman who will love him and whom he will love most all through his life. The one who will not be only a wife to him and mother of his children, but a partner and friend; above all, whom he will think of as his other 'self'. And bind them with Your great love that through thick and thin, in sickness and in health they will stay steadfast and strong knowing You are in the midst of them, guiding them, blessing them. Bless them too with beautiful and handsome children.
Heavenly Father, as You fulfill all these things I asked of You, may You grant me joy and love and peace with the thought that someday, when You reveal Yourself to mankind, I would have the privilege then of meeting him in Your glorious kingdom. These I all ask in powerful name of Jesus Christ, Your One and Only Son, my One and Only Savior. Amen.
