Yonsama Sent Us 'The Family’s Blessings' at a Dinner
“Be happy as a couple. You’ve met the one person you can believe and trust in for the rest of your life so good luck to the two of you!”
Each time YJ celebrates a wedding, he always sends the couple these words.” (Korean newspaper reporter)
During this past year, the happy events continue to occur around Yonsama. Last December, it was Moon Sori, the co-star of TWSSG, followed by Yun Tae Yeon, his ex-manager Shim, and then on October 7, his manager, Hwan Yong who was married.
“YJ himself said to those around him, ‘I’d like to get married within 2-3 years.’ ” (wedding attendee)
This may be an indication of Yonsama’s true feelings even though he has no time for love.
“I think the only single people left around me are Yang (BOF Director) and Eun Kyung (stylist)” he said with a faraway look in his eyes.

Yonsama’s personal trainer, whom he calls JP, Im Jong Pil, will also soon be marrying.
On the afternoon of October 15 at the In the SF gym, a smiling Jong Pil-ssi gave this magazine the news of his engagement.
“A year and a half ago, I met her when she came to the gym as a counselor. She is nine years younger than me.”
Her name is Kim Hee Jung (22). Her job is to explain the results of the various training machines and exercise programs.
“I first fell in love with her face (laughs). She’s so cute, I couldn’t help it. Look.”
He carries several pictures of Hee Jung in his cell phone. Hee Jung resembles Moon Geun Young, the hallyu beauty.
“I always call her by her nickname. It’s ippuni (kawaii, cute).
I’ve introduced her to YJ also and we had also had dinner together. After all, we are all family.”
In March of 2005, JP was saying this to our magazine, “I don’t have a girlfriend so please introduce me to someone” but things have suddenly unfolded to change him into a different person.
“But she’s not only just cute.”
As they got to know each other through their weekly dates, JP began to see her self-sacrificing kindness, and especially the time during last year’s bodybuilding national contest, Mr Korea, made a deep impression on him.
“She supported me with her sincerity and faith so that I could concentrate solely on my training. I thought what a terrific woman she is. I came in third thanks to her!”
But even the wonderful Hee Jung has one shortcoming.
“She doesn’t know how to cook where she can’t even cook ramen by herself. She leaves all the cooking to her mother.”
If she were to learn cooking from Jong Pil, who is also responsible for menu development at Gorilla, she should certainly improve her cooking skills.
“We have discussed dating with the premise of marriage. But there has not been a formal proposal yet. On the 500th day since we started dating, which is November 26, I want to do something romantic.”
They plan to marry next April. Following Buddhist tradition, they said that they will have a Buddhist priest forecast the most auspicious date for their wedding.
For Yonsama, who has attracted so much good fortune up to now, there is no doubt that the wedding of his 'younger brother' is all the more happy news.
“When we told him the news, he gave us his blessings saying, ‘That is really great! Congratulations!’”
In Korea the custom is for the older person to marry first, but I ended up marrying first. As you can see my girlfriend is still young. I didn’t want anyone else to grab her so we’re thinking of getting married quickly (laughs).”
During the interview, Hee Jung came into the room. She looks much prettier in-person than her cell phone photo!
“BYJ was kind enough to take us to dinner. We celebrated together along with the rest of the staff members,” said a smiling Hee Jung.
In between location filming for TWSSG, Yonsama trains at In the SF.
“I have been associating with Yonsama for six years now. All I can do now is stand by and watch him. The truth is I no longer instruct him. When it comes to diet management and body training, he is at a professional level. There is nothing more I can teach him.”
During the filming of the movie, April Snow, Jong Pil was even dispatched to Samcheok where he slept and shared meals together with Yonsama. But he says that he is not accompanying him on the TWSSG location filming.
“As soon as possible, I would like to celebrate my older brother’s wedding.” Life holds both encounters and also departures. Though the forked road called marriage may appear, it seems that the hearts between the 'brothers' will forever remain connected.
