with Yonsama shooting arrows, throwing spears, and learning martial arts.
The first images we caught rival any major movie produced packed with CG effects.

“Gosireh,” (Tokyo, Shirokane), the first Korean restaurant that Yonsama had created in Japan,
had its grand opening on the 10th with close to 100 fans gathered for the ribbon cutting.
Yonsama is currently in Seoul filming GKFG.
He is on set wearing the heavy layered costumes and sweating profusely
while in his off-time, he is at the gym for body training.
“In mid-August, it seems Yonsama appeared in the “In the SF” parking lot..
Even in the extreme heat he is not taking a break from the disciplined training routine.

A spokesperson for SSD Japan, which handles the promotion for this drama said.
“Originally, we were going to release some news about the drama
to the Korean and Japanese media on the 18th but that was postponed.
The reason was due to Prime Minister Koizumi’s visit to Yasukuni Shrine on the 15th.
Korean-Japanese relations have become strained
and it wouldn’t seem right to do a press release based on that timing.
The effectiveness of the promotion was questioned so it was postponed.
It’s really unfortunate that politics has to intrude into the world of drama…”
so he says but location filming seems to continue on schedule.
“Actually, a demo movie is secretly being produced for only select executives at MBC
which will broadcast GKFG.
It’s actually a movie trailer but the staff who have seen this have said
it is better than the movie, “Lord of the Rings [LOTR].”
The completed movie should be terrific, as they’ve all given it such high praise.”

The SSD spokesperson said in a low voice.
“Those images are top secret. That’s why I can’t discuss the story content.
This is a demo movie for TV stations
to decide whether to purchase this drama for broadcast.
It is probably 5-6 minutes in length.”
In Korea, since MBC will be broadcasting the drama,
they are already viewing the tape
and in Japan, several TV stations have seen the tape as part of a presentation.
Note: It’s customary for TV producers to show their TV programs to TV stations
by producing a short video/movie of their work as a sample.
This lets the TV stations decide whether or not to buy the program/series
to air in their respective countries.
That’s why the public and the media can’t get hld of this tape.
It is strictly a demo tape.
On the other hand, after viewing the demo tape,
we don’t want any misunderstanding arising about the drama either.
At any rate, this demo is strictly protected in terms of distribution.”

GKFG is not just a period drama.

As the trailer shows, CG effects are abundant and done on a large scale.
Using wires, there are intense scenes of jumping from rooftop to rooftop
and climbing swiftly up and down large trees in the forest.
Though this is a short five-minute trailer,
it surprised the broadcasting executives
and has more than enough story content to draw interest.”

September 4 – Official Tours to Jejudo
“Finally from September 4 the official tours to Jejudo will begin.
Yong Joon-san will probably go to Jejudo at the end of August.”

he stayed at the Jejudo Lotte Hotel in the Royal Suite (730,000 yen/night)
and celebrated his birthday with business acquaintances.”
The probability remains high that he will celebrate his birthday in Jejudo this year
at the Lotte Hotel.
In the program “BYJ Summer 2006 Hot message” that was broadcast on the 13th, (NTV)
Yonsama congratulated the TV host Onodera Maya on her marriage
and said, “When will I marry? I can’t marry by myself,”
expressing his sadness at the absence of a marriage partner.
It looks like this year will be another birthday party
spent with business acquaintances and not a lover.
In Japan, IMX has various events planned around the time of his birthday.
